Welcome! I am a third grade teacher in a small, rural school district. I have a group of 19 energetic and excited learners. These kids are high-energy, and super eager to get their hands on things and learn! There are large differences in the developmental levels of my students in all areas of learning. Our unique, rural school serves an 80% poverty level student population of about 500 students, PreK - 12th grade. There are many positives to living in this community; however, financial funding for our school is not one of them. A big part of our school's mission statement is to "empower and engage our students to maximize their potential," and regardless of our financial situation, our students do love to come to school each day and are very excited to learn. As their teacher, I look forward to each day with them, and to providing them with a valuable learning experience.
