My students use technology on a weekly basis for fact fluency. This is an area that is difficult for student's with learning disabilities. They will use the headphones along with their chrome books. The headphones allow the students to be read to without disturbing others. Another issue my students face is the ability to focus. Alternative seating will benefit the students. They are able to move without disrupting others. The manipulatives will enable students to see problems in a different way. My students have learning disabilities but yearn to learn and succeed. They require additional tools which are not a basic in traditional classrooms. These items will prepare them for more complicated lessons in the classroom.
