My students are some of the sweetest kids when you get to know them and they want to be successful in all that they do. However, they do not come to school with the necessary skills to be successful without extra work. My school is a Title 1 school where the majority of our students are from both low income and split families. There are also many students in my school that have been introduced to situations in life that they did not need to know existed yet. I just want to be able to give my students that capability to be successful. I feel that I can not be as great of a teacher or leader to my students because my school or district is unable to give me the tools that I need that will entice and hook my students to want to learn. My students do enjoy computers and tablets and have learned more this year when computers were used than any other educational method.
