My students come from low socio-economic or bad homes. They rely on me as a teacher but also as a mother figure sometimes. My students love to learn in different ways because an ordinary classroom setting does not work for them. We are a hands on classroom with lots of activities. We are always working on a project and since my students are special needs, those projects end up colorful and full of imagination.
