The donations will make a huge impact in my students' learning because we are in a Title I school, where many of our students have limited resources at home. The variety of books is to continue to give my students a choice and instill a love of reading at any level. The whiteboards, sticky notes, and pens are materials we use on a daily basis to keep our students engaged in their thinking and writing. The brain flakes, wooden blocks, and STEM building toys will be used as a warm-up, tactile activities for the students to help with creativity, stress, focus, and engagement. These donations will be used daily and for future students as well, it will help expand our classroom library and our students learning and enrichment.
