My students are curious learners. Many expressed interests in science and technology. These tools will enrich my students' learning experience beyond the usual reading passages because they get to think and explore like a real scientist! The telescope will give my students the opportunity to see beyond our skies and to question our universe and look for the answers to their curiosities. What we can only read about in the past can now be in front of them and allow real time observations in the sky and beyond. The microscope will allow my students to explore the world around them up close. Their learning can finally be applied in real life science where they can zoom in to observe the microorganisms that can be found on our bodies or the internal structure of a mineral rock. These are the kind of learning experiences that I want my students to have as they learn more about the world around them.
By donating to our project, you are giving us the opportunity to see the world through different lenses. My students will now be able to move beyond just reading textbooks to actual "sciencing" where their curiosity will lead them to answers and more discoveries.
