Do you remember what it was like to be a teenage girl in junior high school? YIKES? As a guidance counselor for students in a rural K-8 school, I am always excited and anxious to be part of the lives of our young adolescent girls. School is their constant and safe place during this difficult time of trying to find themselves while continuing to feel good about themselves.
