My young students are living through tough times in New York. We have been quarantined for months due to Covid-19 and forced to learn online. I am trying to continue to expose my class to interesting lessons, books, and conversations. Many of them have questions about the pandemic as well as the protests happening in our city. These books will help my current and future 3rd graders better understand how to cope with their feelings, be confident, and understand the cultures and achievements of others. I hope to read these books to my students and inspire them to be extraordinary.
