Every year the HHS football staff meets weekly with our young men. We go over various topics we feel will help them become great young men. We have cover topics: commitment, respect, respect for women, setting goals, and many more. This years leadership theme is: BE THE BEST YOU. We want to do this by having our kids read Jon Gordon's book "Training Camp." Our kids will discover what traits are used by the best, to become the best. Our goal is to have the students go through this book and discuss how it can be applied to make them great, our school great, and our football program great. The lessons will be utilized off the field first, then applied on the field when we start practice in the summer. We want our student athletes to be able to share what they learned to the rest of our team. This will allow our team to work to be the best, while each individual is working to be the best.
