My students are energetic and enthusiastic. They have the best hearts and preserve through difficult curriculum. We have a wide variety of students whose education and personalities differ greatly. I have students who receive special education services, gifted services, several students diagnosed with ADHD, a child with an emotional disability, along with several students who fall into the "average" range. I strive to create a positive learning environment where all students can feel successful each day. I work with a highly active group of 4th graders. It is difficult for my students to focus throughout the day. I do my best to allow movement breaks throughout the day, but for some students that just isn't enough. I would love to be able to provide more movement opportunities that some students need to be successful while staying engaged in learning. I teach at a Title I school where many students receive free/reduced lunch.
