I only have two laptops in my class and 27 children must share them. That's why we so desperately need these iPads. If we want to participate in the same lesson we can go to the Lab once a week for 45 minutes. My students need to be able to have the same opportunities as others students. The five iPads will give me the opportunity to do what I've been wanting to do for years. These iPads will allow the students to do research, learn typing skills, do coding, practice reading and comprehension skills, math activities, and participate in Literacy Academies. These academies are done in small groups. Literacy Academy is conducted everyday for 30 minutes and there are 6 to 7 kids in each group rotating through 5 stations of the Academies. One of the stations will house the iPads. YAYYY!!! Lastly, learning can be made fun by using all the wonderful educational games found online. Please help our educational dreams come true.
