The bike helmets donated to our students will help keep them safe while riding their bikes to school as well as riding with their friends. Approximately 20% of our students ride their bikes to school on a daily basis without the proper safety equipment, such as helmets. We are hosting our first Bike Safety Week, and we will be handing out all of the bike helmets we receive through this project to our students. Our Bike Event will be to teach all of our 5th and 6th grade students the importance of bike safety. Students will be participating in the event on-campus and virtually to help reach many of our students.
