The Rigby series of books are designed to help students succeed in reading. They are also written with interesting characters that the students love. The characters grow throughout the levels with the students, so as the students increase their levels, they will still get to read stories from their favorite characters. The books will be used with individual reading lessons called "Reading Recovery" and also with small groups. I have specifically requested sets of Rigby books so that I can instruct students in small groups. I typically see groups of 4-5 students at a time. This way I can instruct my small groups with interesting books they love.
