I strive to provide a clean environment in my classroom as the neighborhood I teach in has one of the highest asthma populations. Keeping the classroom clean is a must! Practicing good hygiene is a great way to ensure we keep germs to a minimum in the classroom.
A healthy and organized learning environment is needed for students to be successful. Students often miss school days due to illnesses. Any time spent away from the classroom is missed learning time.
I am requesting supplies to help prevent the spread of germs in the classroom. Clorox disinfecting wipes and Lysol will be used to clean down surfaces before and after the school day. We use hand sanitizer to help keep our hands clean on our trips to the bathroom and after activities when soap is not available.
We are also working toward being organized and starting the day off great! This begins with sharpened pencils because we do a lot of writing and folders to keep our work organized. I stay after-school each day to sharpen pencils so my students are prepared every day. These materials will help my students, as fourth graders we want to be great and that begins with our learning space being Clean and Organized!!
