Second Grade Science really does "Matter!" I am a general education second grade teacher in a Title 1 school. The majority of the students in my class come from high poverty homes and half of my students are English Language Learners. Our school was recently put into School Improvement for not meeting the required test scores on our state achievement tests. It is very important to me that I give my students a strong foundation to be successful in the future.
