I love the job that I have! With this position, comes a lot of responsibility. I am fortunate to have anywhere from 26 to 28 students in a classroom who all range in different learning styles and different backgrounds. I am constantly trying to stay present and refreshed in order to provide my students with the best instruction possible. Last summer I had the opportunity to attend this conference and learned so many new things. Just like my own students, I strive to learn everyday. This is an opportunity to continue in my learning. There are about a dozen speakers who come with new and engaging ideas that cover multiple instructional practices. I will also have the privilege of learning through collaboration with other educators from all over the world. This is a time to be refreshed in the world of teaching. I am hoping to attend this conference in order to be the best teacher I can be.
