This book will enhance the rigorous science classroom that I try to create. My students have a true thirst for science and genuinely enjoy our big Chemistry unit. I can see that they are ready for a challenge and I want to provide that for them through the book: The Mystery of the Periodic Table. It is rare to find a scientific text that is both conceptually challenging but accessible and fun to read but The Mystery of the Periodic Table accomplishes just that and I cannot wait for my students to dive in! As class sizes grow, access to whole class science materials decrease but if this project gets funded, every single one of my students will have their own copy of this book to learn from and enjoy. Being away from their classrooms due to this pandemic, I know my students will be craving an enriching science education. I know this book will deepen there level of understanding for Chemistry and I'm excited to incorporate it into my hands-on and rigorous science curriculum.
