We know that the very best way to grow a child's reading ability is to get them to read. The titles we've requested are books that our students are asking for over and over again. These are the books we can't keep on the shelf! The books that go missing because they are taken home and loved and passed on to someone else. These are the books that have a celebrity status; a waiting list. These books engage our readers, so when we tell our students, "It's Read With a Passion time," they have something they cannot wait to dive into. The books on our list will be used dailY as read-to-self books both at school and at home for years and years... or until the book is so well-loved that it falls apart. A donated book impacts 40 students on the very first day it lands in our classroom. Thank you for helping our amazing readers. We are so grateful.
