My students are kind, hard-working, and enthusiastic learners. They see the value in learning from others, especially authors and illustrators. They love technology and communicating through Skype with other classes throughout the United States and Canada. What they don't all have though, is an understanding that even though they are young, they have talents that they can share and teach others. They are more than just their academic abilities. I would love for them to see themselves as I see them, and be proud of themselves for the great things they are capable of, and all the special qualities that give me my daily "mommy moments."
