While we are waiting until it is safe to return to the classroom, my students will get the opportunity to develop their artistic skills with projects that go along with our lessons. With this exposure to colors, they will learn about mixing colors to create new colors with their individual paint palettes. Using fly swatters to volley balloons with classmates promotes laughter, cooperation, and movement. Soon we will be heading back to the classroom for hybrid learning. With individual fly swatters, my students will remain safe while getting precious opportunities to play and be kids. My students enjoy listening to music each morning. I would like to extend their experience by letting them listen to multiplication rap CDs and watch some outstanding science, grammar, and phonics DVDs. The portable DVD/CD player will enable my class to learn with these valuable resources.
