The particular students who will be using this shelf are 4 through 8 year olds. They love to read informative non-fiction books and we have a special collection just for them. Many of these students do not visit the public library so the school library is where they learn to love information. They love animals of all kinds, cars, sports and biographies. We have a collection that helps develop a love of learning and enhances classroom curriculum as well as creates life-long learners. These students check out 2 to 10 times a week. I would like to make the shelves a more welcoming place where little hands can manipulate the books. Our students love books!!
