My students with disabilities need headphones. Most of their general education teachers ask them to do lessons that require them to listen to content. They need headphones to complete these lessons. Lesson activities include podcasts, Khan Academy lessons, videos in USA Test Prep, etc. A small group of my students can not afford the headphones needed to complete lessons. I teach a study skills class (elective) that provides time for students to use headphones to complete work they are unable to do in class or at home. These headphones will also be used by students who might forget their personal headphones at home.
