In my first year in the classroom, I was provided with second-hand seat sacks for the students to store their notebooks, workbooks, folders, and other belongings. Students are seated in groups of six. Each child has their own seat sack for their chair. These seat sacks provide easy access to the students' materials throughout the day, therefore allowing students to stay focused on their learning. Instead of searching around the room for supplies, students will be free to spend valuable time on their classwork. Unfortunately, these resources have begun to show their age, with many of the seat sacks becoming torn and unusable. Providing my students with a new set of seat sacks will enable them to start the year off right!
