These stools, balls and desks will help my students be more successful in second grade. They need to be able to make good learning choices for themselves. Offering them a variety of seating options help them find the tools that help each individual child find what works. Children learn differently than when I grew up and as an educator, it is my job to change with them so all my students are successful, confident learners. Providing all children an inviting, challenging and happy environment to learn, is important to me. Many of my students are from lower income families. My heart always goes out to these children. I want to give them the world but I can't. I do the next best thing and give them a welcoming, safe, fun and happy learning environment to reach their potential. My goal is for every child to be at the same level in my classroom. It doesn't matter what you have at home. In our classroom, we all have the same things.
