I would like to request a document camera that will help my students see handwritten material. I teach tier 3 math intervention. My students are used to seeing modeling and examples on the whiteboard. Since students are learning virtually, they need to see the examples of all the strategies that they can use to solve problems. It is often difficult for me to hold up the work in the camera on the computer. Zoom does have a whiteboard feature, but it is difficult to write with the mouse. I would also like to purchase math rich literature so I can incorporate reading into my teaching. These books will help activate my lessons and make the material more interesting to the students. I will use the document camera to project the book. I love to incorporate cross curricular activities as much as I can into my lessons. The document camera and the purchase of math rich literature will allow me to make this successful.
