Dear Potential Donors, I started Makerspaces in our VME library media center last year. The students loved the hands-on experiences so we expanded into a Makespace Lab this year. I invited parents to join the adventure with 9 evening events this year, so that parents and their children could create together. Our Makerspaces are based on our district curriculum guides with additional opportunities provided. With all of this activity we need more materials. That is where your assistance could help us to continue to grow and meet youngsters' needs. We can use all kinds of items for our young inventors to use as they make things. Our students have enjoyed commercial building materials, such as Legos, Snap Circuits and Straws & Jacks. However, they also can enjoy tools and materials that can be used in a variety of ways, such as small hammers, beads, and fabric. Thank you for considering this request! Marge Cox
