"Teach Me how To Read" is a request made to me by several of my third grade students. Unfortunately, many of them started third grade reading one to two grade levels below third grade. They are feeling the pressure of the Third Grade Reading Guarantee testing, and are very frustrated at their low performance. I would like them to have access to appropriate reading materials that generate an excitement to read. We do not have access to a school library due to lack of funding. I would love to provide exciting titles that will ignite a desire within them to become stellar readers!
