Although my third graders work on very challenging assignments, they are still eight and nine years old. Like many young students they can still get the wiggles and lose their focus. Studies done on Balance Ball seats have shown a decrease in hyperactivity and increase on attention and on task behavior. I want to be able to accommodate my students, especially those with attention issues, throughout the day. Allowing students a way to get out the wiggles will increase the work they are able to complete each day. My job is to help make them successful students and my hope is these seats will help.
