Hands-on games and manipulatives are used daily by my kindergarten students during center time and for small group interventions. Students are increasing their knowledge of numbers and the alphabet because they are learning and having fun simultaneously. The hands-on games and manipulatives can be utilized in a variety of ways to match the academic levels of the students. Your assistance with funding for this project will help students build a strong foundation in Reading and Math by creating fun, learning experiences at an early age. This will thereby make their transition to the next level a much more pleasant experience.
