I teach eager English learners who work hard every day to improve their English language and reading skills. Many are newcomers and depend on auditory and visual cues to internalize language. We have access to many programs through our district but don't have the appropriate dependable and individual technology in our classroom to access the curriculum. We will use the tablets during reading class to listen to reading, practice comprehension, phonics, and decoding on Education Galaxy, Istation, Reading A-Z, Tumblebooks, and many other programs that we can access. These versatile tablets will make a big impact on my students' learning!
