The materials will be used all year, however, they will be very beneficial during our physical science/matter unit. Students will be able to measure the volume, mass and density of the density cubes with a ruler and a graduated cylinder using displacement instead of just doing a worksheet. Students will able to see matter change state from a solid to a liquid to a gas with the hot plates instead of just watching a video about it. They will be able to experience hands-on science with these materials. Science will be more engaging and fun with your support of my classroom.
