We sit on the carpet for over half of our day. Students currently have to sit so closely together to fit on the current alphabet carpet that we have for our whole group learning. This new Learning Letters Activity Carpet would allow each student their own special spot. When we aren't sitting on the carpet, students will be able to have the carpet function as a center where they spell out words that they are learning to read and write. This way students will be able to move around and not feel that they are stuck in one area for a long period of time. This is important for kindergarten students as their attention span is not long at all.
