Having these computers would allow us to have a more flexible and engaging classroom. Instead of whole group work, we can better differentiate their learning. It would allow us to implement useful apps for math and literature practice, several programs to help with classroom accessibility, or even to just peak their interest by allowing them to use virtual reality or videos for pre-reading/priming activities. Students could be in rotating groups where they can watch videos to build their background knowledge on a story, or could use computers to help with writing by using speech to text programs. With a classroom with such diverse needs, every bit of flexibility counts.
