The students in my classroom have a very difficult time sitting still and staying focus throughout the day. We have tried a few stability balls and have seen a difference in their ability to focus when needing to sit and work. Having more stability balls will allow more of our students to take advantage of movement while working on class work. Students with intellectual disabilities have a wide variety of needs and ways of learning. Bouncing on stability balls allows my students to move while listening. I have noticed how much more focused my students are when sitting on stability balls.
