Learning about science is important, but when you have the opportunity to engage in hands-on science learning becomes surreal! Labs and/or experiments are critical in the learning process for all students. It helps students visualize the bigger picture and makes learning more fun. Being able to follow steps and carry them out are important skills that all students need to learn. This project will allow my students to engage in an experiment in which they will use the scientific method, inquiry, design, and engineering processes. One of the ultimate goals is for them to make real life connections. Having them complete this experiment will increase student achievement as well as their confidence levels about science.

About my class
