I have a wonderful group of students this year! My students are of mixed abilities, races, and cultures. All of my students qualify for the free breakfast and lunch program at school. Most families struggle to provide school uniforms and school supplies for their kids. I am hoping to enhance the curriculum for my students by requesting materials to help close the achievement gap, get them motivated to learn, and expose them to different genres of reading. My school is filled with almost 500 kids who are fortunate to have teachers and staff members who love what they do, and are all there for them! It's a great place to teach and learn!
