My students are the best! I cannot tell you how proud I am for all of my students to walk in the door on that 1st day of school as nonreaders and leave 1st grade being fluent and efficient reading rock stars! I am amazed each day at my ELL/ESL students who go home and only speak a foreign language and then come to school and speak, read and write in English. They are AMAZING!
