I teach Gifted and Talented science in an urban school district. I believe in hands on learning and you will never see students working from a textbook or workbook. These children are so bright and capable. They are the most curious and innovative children I have ever met. I have no doubt that they are going to change the world, but most of them have never left the city limits. These materials will take down walls and allow students to travel the world all in the safety of our classroom. They will encourage them to imagine worlds and possibilities for themselves. I hope these materials will help them realize their dreams can be a reality. These projects are about overcoming adversity and have very important lessons that every child can benefit from. Help them realize their dreams. Help them create their dreams. Help them believe in the dreams. Help them fulfill their dreams.
