My student's disabilities impact their fine motor skills, communication, auditory and visual abilities as well as their social and cognitive abilities. I want to integrate “blended learning” into my classroom. This means that there will be an emphasis on engaging students directly in the content so they learn through activity. Our new iPads will be multisensory, meaning that students can take the learning approach that makes the most sense for them. There are so many different applications that have been developed to help teachers accommodate varying levels of abilities and paces of learning. I know that our new iPads will radically alter my students experience in the classroom for the better.
