Most of our students come to school with a love of learning. Many of them come with challenges but are met at our doors with a clean slate. We as a school try to meet the needs of each individual. As a small city school that has over 60% free/reduced lunches, we are challenged to provide even the basic needs of survival. However it is truly amazing how high these students will strive with in this warm school community we have. Our teachers and staff always go above and beyond their job descriptions. Countless extra hours are spent planning and working with children. Even though we may be an economically challenged population that does not stop these children from wanting to give to others. There have been numerous fundraisers started by students to help their community.

About my class
