Our school is a low income school with a very diverse population. There are different backgrounds, beliefs, learning styles and needs. My students are eager in the classroom, bright and ready to learn! Every student in my classroom loves to read. They absolutely love any and every book, especially when it's read aloud time on the carpet! One thing they have talked about is a listening center, so that they can hear stories and learn new information in a quiet setting with the book in their hands. My students are generous, caring, and so happy to be in the classroom; I would love to give them a new center to learn from and enjoy!

About my class
