My classroom is a special education classroom for students affiliated with the Making Connections Program. Making Connections is a program for students with Autism to help them learn social skills and generalize those skills into the classroom. My students are part of a Title-1 school and in a low socio-economic area of Houston. My students are comprised of ELLS and learners who require more than the status quo to be successful. My students are in Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade.
