Currently I have 26 bright, enthusiastic, energetic first graders learning in my room. Our days are filled with lots of learning activities but the one I would like to utilize most are Osmo centers on the iPad. I currently have one center available and filtering my 26 students through it gets tricky. Being able to have 2 more center stations available would be amazing! The iPad/Osmo combination provides my students with enhanced learning in several areas: math, spelling, shapes, drawing and coding. Coding is now part of our first grade science kit, so this added bonus of the Osmo system would be fantastic. The Osmo provides differentiated learning in all areas and is able to increase in difficulty based on the level of play. Students this day in age are very accustomed to the technology we have available in our homes. This Osmo system allows me to tap into that excitement and interest in technology, but with learning opportunities that will enhance our curriculum and continue to challenge the minds of my students.
