My classroom contains approximately 10-15 special needs students ranging from preschool through 2nd grade. In our low income school district, approximately 70 percent of students are on free or reduced priced meals due to household incomes. Our students come to my classroom for learning skills such as communication arts, mathematics, life skills, reading, and more.
