My read alouds will include many child-friendly books on tolerance that lend themselves to reading responses and art activities that will be engaging as well as entertaining to young children. The books have colorful illustrations and characters that children will become familiar with and embrace. I hope to provide them with many opportunities to write, color, and create using pencils, crayons, glue, markers, and assorted mediums available in my classroom. Children will be able to borrow the books and take them home to share with their families and will be taught to care for the book and we need book totes. We need basket to store all the pencils, crayons, and markers.
