Each year the students are asked to participate in a science fair. This year science fair is based on what problems can we solve in the world. 6th grade will deal with decomposition in landfills, 7th grade will deal with thermal energy and renewable resources in solar ovens, and 8th grade will be dealing with the best way to build a bridge for earthquake safety and structure. This is a great way for students to show case how much they have learned this year. Students will not have to purchase anything to participate in the science fair. This helps with family and student involvement.
