"If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn." -Ignacio Estrada It is my responsibility to provide the opportunities for my students to learn in an environment that meets their educational needs and recognizes the need for strategies and tools to support their learning. The use of the Bean Bag Chairs will support the students in my classroom who necessitate sensory input to feel safe and to maintain focus in a manner in which will enhance classroom engagement. The Wobble Chairs will support the students in my classroom who necessitate movement to be able to maintain focus and engage in instruction. The fidget items will also assist in supporting the sensory needs of my students. I must be aware as a teacher of exceptional children that I must adjust my teaching and the room environment to maximize student engagement and learning. The items requested will help me in accomplishing this and I appreciate your consideration of support.
