I teach at an alternative building for credit recovery. I teach all high school grades but the majority of my student are juniors. Also many of my students are from low income households. With such a low budget, I struggle to get materials and get my students engaged without fun projects. I'd like to read more books with my students and get better things to talk about. Many of them are bright and smart, they just need a better way of learning.
