My students are sixth graders and attend an at-risk campus. My school is very nurturing and caring to our students. We want them to have every opportunity other students their ages are having. Many do not have computers or tablets in their home. I feel if they have these resources at school it will help them learn many Internet skills need for college. I strongly urge my students to look beyond high school. It is not, "if I go to college," it is "WHEN I go to college" in my classroom. I feel tablets would help them tremendously with their technology skills.
