Our staff is a cooperative teaching team! It's not unusual to see a teacher jumping into another classroom in order to explain a lesson in another way. We work together to achieve maximum understanding for our students. It's very difficult to do this in Covid's remote learning environment with a computer, as we are then wired to our classroom and unable to assist in other classrooms. Having tablets would allow us to still integrate into other classrooms. Having tablets would allow our students to be taught with the most modern learning apps, despite the poverty in the area. We would be able to Live stream our classroom to all of our students, giving them the best education possible on their Chromebooks! These new technologies maximize the comprehension of alternative learners, as they use visual, aural, and kinesthetic methods of teaching, rather than the traditional written word that alternative students struggle so deeply with.
